Sydney is an associate in the firm’s Corporate/Transactional practice. She focuses on all aspects of business law, including entity formation, corporate governance, corporate restructurings, and mergers and acquisitions. Her day-to-day work also includes contract drafting, analysis, and negotiation as well as commercial real estate matters such as financing and leasing. Additionally, she has experience in estate planning from single individuals to families with business succession in mind, which experience she utilizes in advising her business clients.
Sydney is always eager to help current and prospective entrepreneurs achieve their goals, whether it be forming a single manager/member limited liability company for a client pursuing their first venture, assisting with the transfer of a longstanding family-run business to the next generation, or negotiating the sale of a multi-million dollar business. She is experienced in working with–and acting as outside general counsel for—closely-held businesses engaged in an array of industries, including printing companies, insurance companies, architecture firms, consulting firms, restaurants, retail stores, and automotive shops.
Before joining the firm, Sydney worked in the corporate department of a business law firm on the North Shore. She received her Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston in 2017, magna cum laude, and her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Endicott College in 2013, magna cum laude. While in law school, she took part in the Honors Judicial Internship Program at the Massachusetts Appeals Court, interned for a criminal defense attorney, and worked for the Middlesex County Superior Court Clerk’s Office.
When Sydney isn’t working, she loves to unwind by cooking and binging the latest popular television series.
