Previously known as the Zigbee Alliance, the Connectivity Standards Alliance is a trade organization that develops, evolves, and promotes universal open standards for the Internet of Things (IoT) – enabling objects to connect and interact securely. In 2022, the Alliance released its Matter standard, which allows for Smart Home devices from different manufacturers to connect seamlessly and securely.
With more than 600 members and over 5,000 certified products, the Alliance’s legal needs are large and varied.
