PACS is the information system that drives imaging systems, such as MRIs, CT scans, X-Ray and Ultrasound scans, and cardiology imaging systems. The procurement involved competition among Fuji, IBM, Philips and other technology providers. Structuring the acquisition of the solution involved developing a creative licensing model as well as addressing cybersecurity and cyber insurance issues. The negotiations spanned over a year and were finalized in Q1 2023.
