Here is Daniel signing the roll of attorneys under the watchful eyes of historic lawmakers depicted in the painting Webster Replying to Senator Hayne.
This centerpiece painting in the Great Hall at Faneuil Hall, was executed by artist George Peter Alexander Healy from 1843-1850.
The largest painting in the Hall’s collection, it depicts Massachusetts Senator Daniel Webster debating with South Carolina Senator Robert Y. Hayne on preserving the Union when the country was on the brink of the Civil War.
There is no doubt that Daniel will follow with distinction, and bring honor to, his legal predecessors. Congratulations!
